Hiring: Postdoctoral Researcher in Experiments and Simulations

We are inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position to join our research team working on experiments and simulations. The project focuses on developing experimentally validated numerical models for solar thermal-based thermochemical hydrogen generation systems.

Position Overview

  • Position: Postdoctoral Researcher – computational and experimental solar thermal-based heating system / thermochemical hydrogen generation system
  • Duration: 6 months (extendable up to 1 year based on performance & funding)
  • Fellowship: ₹70,000 – ₹80,000 per month (consolidated, based on experience)

Essential Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Thermo-Fluid / Engineering with ≥ 7.0 CGPA or 70% in Bachelor's and/or Master’s in Mechanical / Chemical / Energy Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with CFD (ANSYS), MATLAB, and experiments.

Experience & Publications

  • Up to 2 years as a postdoctoral fellow in an institute/university of national or international repute.
  • Strong record of high-quality publications in reputed international journals related to computational and experimental heat transfer.

Desirable (Preferred)

  • Experience in modelling & experiments on thermal energy systems.
  • Excellent knowledge/experience in developing thermochemical hydrogen generation systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
