Prof. Amitabha Ghosh has been inducted as the Institute Fellow

Professor Amitabha Ghosh served as faculty member in the Mechanical Engineering Department at IIT Kanpur from 1971 to 2006 and was the Director of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur during 1997-2002. Professor Ghosh played a key role in nurturing the department of Mechanical Engineering and the Center of Robotics at IIT Kanpur. He has received many awards and honors including Alexander von-Humboldt Foundation Fellowship, INSA-Senior Scientist Platinum Jubilee Fellow, Fellowship of all Indian academics of science and engineering.
