New Delhi/Kanpur, 18 February 2026: SATHEE (Self-Assessment, Test and Help for Entrance Exams), an initiative developed by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur with support from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has been featured in the prestigious “Real-World Impact of AI in Education” Casebook, unveiled at the India AI Impact Summit 2026. The recognition highlights SATHEE’s role as a large-scale, AI-driven learning platform that improves access to quality education and personalized exam preparation for students across India, particularly in underserved and rural regions.

On this occasion, the team also announced the launch of the new AI-enabled version of the SATHEE platform, introducing advanced features designed to transform how students prepare for competitive examinations. The upgraded SATHEE platform integrates multiple AI technologies to deliver: AI Conversational Tutor enabling guided conceptual learning, AI Doubt Solver and Visual Problem Solver for instant solutions, Personalized Study Plans and Adaptive Learning Paths, AI Mock Tests with detailed performance analytics, Confusion Detection and Memory Support tools, AI Smart Summaries for efficient revision, Cutoff Prediction and Career Counselling support, AI Teaching Assistant tools for educators, Motivation and engagement features to improve learning continuity.

SATHEE currently supports preparation for major national examinations, including JEE, NEET, CUET, CLAT, SSC, RRB, IBPS, and ICAR, and provides multilingual learning resources free of cost to students. Speaking on the recognition, representatives from IIT Kanpur noted that the platform demonstrates how Artificial Intelligence can be deployed responsibly at a national scale to improve learning outcomes while ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.

The feature in the international casebook reinforces India’s growing leadership in AI-enabled education innovation and the country’s commitment to leveraging technology for equitable learning opportunities.
