Regular Counselling Session

Regular Counselling Session involve ongoing one-on-one meetings with a professional counsellor over a period of time. These session are designed for individuals who wish to work more deeply on their concerns and benefit from consistent support, guidance, and follow-up.

Regular session provide a safe and confidential space to explore emotional, academic, interpersonal, or psychological issues in depth. The counsellor works collaboratively with the client to understand patterns, past experiences (when relevant), and current challenges, and helps develop coping strategies and skills that can be practiced between session.

This form of therapy is especially helpful for long-standing concerns, recurring difficulties, or situations that require sustained professional guidance. The frequency and duration of session are decided jointly by the client and the counsellor, based on individual needs and progress.

Regular counselling allows for continuity, trust-building, and structured growth over time, enabling individuals to work toward long-term well-being and personal development.

Single Session Therapy (Online)

Single Session Therapy (Online) is a one-time, one-on-one counselling session conducted through a secure online platform. It is designed for those seeking timely support from their own space without a long-term commitment.


How Does it Work?

Online SST focuses on addressing a specific concern within a single interaction. Your therapist will collaborate with you to:

  • Understand the concern clearly.
  • Explore thoughts, emotions, and available options.
  • Identify personal strengths and coping strategies.
  • Formulate practical steps to work on the concern independently.

Eligibility & Expectations

Duration Minimum 30 mins (depending on the concern).
Platform Online only via a secure platform.
Availability Appointments booked Mon–Thu; Session held during CMHW office hours (Mon–Fri).
Focus Best suited for one clearly defined or short concern.
Follow-up Clients can re-book after two weeks; previous session must be disclosed.

All services are free of cost and completely confidential. Information is kept private except where required by ethical or legal obligations.

Important Note: Online SST is not recommended for long-standing concerns or severe mental health conditions. For recurring issues, please book Regular Counselling Session for sustained professional care.

Single Session Therapy (In-Person)

Single Session Therapy (In-Person) is a one-time, face-to-face counselling session conducted at the counselling Center. It is designed for individuals who prefer in-person interaction and seek immediate support for a specific concern without a long-term commitment.


How Does it Work?

In-person SST focuses on addressing your present concern within a single in-person interaction. Your therapist will work with you to:

  • Understand the concern in detail.
  • Explore thoughts, emotions, and possible perspectives.
  • Clarify doubts and uncertainties.
  • Identify personal strengths and coping resources.
  • Provide practical guidance or action steps for independent progress.

Eligibility & Expectations

Session Type In-person at the counselling Center.
Duration 15 to 90 minutes (varies by concern).
Booking Days Monday to Thursday.
Timing Conducted during CMHW office hours (Mon–Fri).
Client Focus One clearly defined or short concern is recommended.
Re-booking Available after two weeks (must disclose previous session).

All services are free of cost and completely confidential. Information is kept private except where required by ethical or legal obligations.
