The Lally School of Management and Technology was founded in 1963 as an integral part of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Department of IME, IIT KANPUR along with Lally School, USA offered course "Manufacturing Strategy and Systems" jointly (during Aug - Nov, 06) using advanced internet technology. This was highly appreciated from both the sides and now it is planned to align MBA curriculum of both the sides so that in future many such courses can be offered.
