Kanpur, 11 December 2023: At the close of the 8th day (8 December 2023) during the ongoing placement season, 891 full-time offers including pre-placement offers (PPOs) were extended to 818 students at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. 21 students from the institute have been offered attractive international job offers from various companies. Renowned industry giants such as Microsoft, Fujitsu, Samsung, Reliance, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Deutsche Bank, Tata Projects, Navi, Uniorbit, ICICI Bank, EXL, NPCL, Intel, TSMC, and others have emerged as top recruiters, underscoring the exceptional talent pool at IIT Kanpur. Kanpur, 4 December 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) has kicked off Phase I of placement session to a flying start with 485 jobs being offered to students at the end of Day 1 of campus placements. The placement statistics highlight the outstanding success of IITK students, with 428 students securing coveted positions through a combination of campus placements and Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). Notably, 216 students have surpassed traditional hiring methods, securing PPOs from both national and international companies. Another impressive feat is the recognition of 12 students receiving enticing international job offers. Talking about the achievement on Day 1, Prof S.
