Socio-cultural dynamics of mental illness in India. This is a tentative idea about the topic that my study will revolve around. The social profile of the mentally ill people and their cultural background has to say a lot about the recent proliferation of the occurrence of mental diseases in India. This is about the socio-cultural dimensions of the lives of the mentally ill people and how the mental illness can be termed as a cultural disease than a biological disease.
