Research Topic

I began with an interest in a notion of the human self that is richer than the one proposed by Descartes and other rationalists (the self as rational mind), and more consonant with our irrefutable experience of being embodied, social, relational, evolving, plural beings in the setting of a world. Upon this background, I study the human self and existence as it emerges in the dialectics between embodiment and social formation.
