Large Eddy Simulation of Supersonic Mixing in Strut-Ramp Configuration

"The aim of present work is to investigate the flow and mixing characteristic in a ramp-strut injection configuration in oncoming supersonic flow using Large Eddy Simulation (LES) methodology. Thorough investigation of strut-ramp configuration would enlighten the understanding of mixing behavior and complex flow, results obtained would offer deeper insight into the flame stabilization mechanism."

Since there are vast number of infectious diseases surrounding humans. T.B. Malaria,Polio, AIDS and Diarrhoea are few of them which have got global impact and are responsible for millions of death every year. The only prophylactic measure against such disease it to develop vaccine and prevent the disease from happening. In line my research topic is to develop nanoparticles based SUB-UNIT ORAL VACCINE against diarrhoea for children. On successful completion my finding will combat the deadly diarrhoea and will save the life of millions of children in developing countries.

Granular materials

I am studying the interaction between granular material and continuous systems.
Granular materials like soil, powder and grains can be described as discrete material. Behavior of which is not fully understood yet as it can exists in all three states of matter depending on energy it possess. We have developed a code to simulate the interaction between grains, which has given results significantly comparable with experiments we have performed.
Considering the transportation problem of this material, we have chosen to work on its interaction with continuous systems such as conveyor belts.
