Kanpur/Patna, April 20, 2026: A two-day training workshop under the SATHEE platform was successfully organized recently, in collaboration with the Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD), Patna, and the BC and EBC Welfare Department, Government of Bihar. The programme was designed for teachers from 39 OBC Girls’ Residential +2 High Schools across the state, with a total of 70 participants, including 29 women.

The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Chet Narain Rai (Director, BIPARD), Shri Anil Kumar Thakur (Additional Secretary, BC and EBC Welfare Department), and Ms Prachi Garg (EdTech Director, SATHEE, IIT Kanpur).
During the workshop, the SATHEE team delivered a comprehensive overview of the platform and demonstrated its AI-enabled educational tools designed to support both teaching and learning. Key features showcased included personalized learning support and study planning, AI-based visual problem-solving tools, doubt resolution systems, performance analytics, adaptive practice modules, and topic-wise learning recommendations, and smart digital tools to identify learning gaps and improve student preparation. Teachers were also guided on how SATHEE can be effectively integrated into daily classroom teaching to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
A major highlight of the workshop was the teacher dashboard on the SATHEE platform, which enables educators to track student performance, identify learning gaps, and adopt data-driven teaching strategies to improve classroom teaching and overall classroom results.
The programme also emphasized strengthening subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB) through expert lectures by IIT faculty available on the platform. Hands-on training sessions were conducted in the computer labs at BIPARD, allowing participants to gain practical experience in using the tools.
At the conclusion of the workshop, certificates of participation were awarded by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur to all attendees. The participation of 29 women teachers reflected encouraging gender representation in the initiative.
The workshop marks a significant step toward integrating AI-enabled teaching methodologies in Bihar’s residential school system and equipping educators with modern digital resources to better support student learning.
