Dr. Shivkumar Kalyanaraman, CEO, ANRF will be the chief guest for the EE department for 59th Convocation.
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Shivkumar Kalyanaraman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) will be the Guest of Honor at this year’s Department Convocation.
Dr. Shivkumar Kalyanaraman is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). The ANRF - established through an Act of Parliament, acts as an apex body to provide high-level strategic direction of scientific research in the country. ANRF forges collaborations among the industry, academia, and government departments and research institutions.
Dr. Shivkumar who earlier held the post of CTO, Energy Industry, Asia at Microsoft is a Distinguished Alumnus Awardee of IIT Madras & Ohio State University. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering, ACM Distinguished Scientist, Microsoft Gold Club and Technology Review TR100 young innovator. Earlier, he has also held various positions in IBM and GE.
Dr. Shivkumar Kalyanaraman received the BTech in Computer Science from IIT Madras in 1993, MS & PhD from The Ohio State University in 1997 and Executive MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2005.
