SATHEE Summit 2026 Held Successfully at IIT Kanpur

Kanpur, September 11, 2026: The SATHEE Summit 2026, an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, under SATHEE (Self-Assessment, Test and Help for Entrance Exams) at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). The event was attended by approximately 400 students, 22 school coordinators, and members of the SATHEE team.

The summit aimed to provide students with expert guidance on preparation for various competitive and entrance examinations, practical approaches to studying, mental well-being, and future career opportunities.

The programme commenced with the welcome of guests and students, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Subsequently, Mr. Anurag Singh provided students with detailed information about the SATHEE online portal. He explained that SATHEE is a free online platform where students can register at no cost and prepare for various competitive and entrance examinations. The portal provides useful study materials and guidance for examinations including JEE, NEET, CLAT, ICAR, CUET, IBPS, SSC, RRB, and several others.

He also briefed the students about the registration process, the academic resources available on the SATHEE portal, and ways to effectively utilize the platform for examination preparation. He encouraged students to make maximum use of the free digital resources available through SATHEE.

In continuation, Prof. Amey Karkare, Professor and Principal Investigator, SATHEE, IIT Kanpur, briefed the students about various aspects and features of SATHEE. He particularly guided the students on how to prepare for the IIT-JEE examination, including the right preparation strategy, effective study methods, and the approach required to perform well in the examination. He also shared his experiences and valuable suggestions with the students and encouraged them to follow a planned and consistent approach to their preparation.

During the summit, Dr. Sudhanshu Shekhar Singh, Associate Professor and Head, Centre for Mental Health and Wellness, IIT Kanpur, shared important suggestions with students on maintaining good mental health during their studies and effectively managing examination-related stress.

Expert guidance sessions were also organized for various competitive examinations. Dr. Navin Gude, SMO, Health Centre, IIT Kanpur, provided guidance on NEET preparation; Mr. Ravindra Singh, Assistant Manager, SBI, IIT Kanpur, shared important insights on banking examinations; and Mr. Ashutosh K. R. Pandey, IRS (2018 Batch), Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, provided guidance related to the preparation for the Civil Services Examination.

Mr. Anurag Pandey, REO, IIT Kanpur, guided the students on the topic “Study with a Practical Approach”, focusing on ways to make their learning more effective and practical.

The programme also provided students with an opportunity to interact directly with the experts and discuss their queries and examination-related questions. During the interactive session, the experts responded to students’ questions and shared valuable suggestions regarding examination preparation and career planning.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Anurag Pandey.

The SATHEE Summit 2026 provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn directly from experts and interact with them on competitive examination preparation, mental well-being, practical study approaches, and various career opportunities. The programme encouraged students to give better direction to their examination preparation and make effective use of free digital resources such as SATHEE.
