workshop on satellite based particle detector to search for dark matter was held at IIT Kanpur on 27 and 28 January. The meeting was aimed at proposing a space observatory which will search for the hypothetical dark matter particle. Scientists from many institutes within India attended this workshop which was held in hybrid mode.
