The virtual reunion was instrumental in reconnecting many of them. Director, IIT Kanpur, Prof. Abhay Karandikar, talked about the key achievements of the Institute along with details of new and upcoming initiatives of IIT Kanpur. Prof. Karandikar added “Due to Covid19 pandemic, we could not celebrate re-unions of our alumni on campus. However, I was delighted to attend a grand Virtual Silver Jubilee reunion of the Class of 1996. There was an overwhelming and enthusiastic participation by alumni. All of them promised to help the institute. Though it was held online, the whole event was conducted very well with a great organization by the co-ordinators.
