Prerequisites:
Course Contents The course will introduce students to literature through exposure to different literary genres within the three main categories of prose, poetry, and drama. The focus of the course will be on how to read a literary text in terms of its use of language and style as well its thematic content. In the process, students will learn about the different approaches to literary analysis as a way of understanding, interpreting, and evaluating specific literary texts.
