Development of indigenous, cost-effective point-of-care technologies to deliver precision care for neurological and psychiatric disorders
The center of excellence is working on neuroscience, neurosurgery, and neurorobotics, finding solutions for the alarming rise of diseases like epilepsy, Parkinson’s, dystonia, chronic pain, and post-stroke rehabilitation of stroke patients. The multidisciplinary team of faculty members and medical experts are working on Real-Time BCI devices, Neurorehabilitation using Agents (Robots) for Neurophysiological and Neuropsychological rehabilitation, and Computational Neuroscience.
Ongoing activities:
- Heart-Rate Variability Based Biofeedback for Resonant Breathing
- Point of Care EEG for Neurological diagnosis
- Developing a Cognitively Adaptable Brain-Machine Interface for Stroke Rehabilitation
