Digital Health Stack
Collaborative research with the Government of Uttar Pradesh was initiated to develop the Uttar Pradesh Digital Health Stack (UP-DHS) under the National Health Stack (NHS) program of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). The research areas are :
- Anchoring the telemedicine hubs and improving the quality of telemedicine services
- AI-based solution for Population Impact
- Point-of-Care Diagnostics
- Competency-based capacity building of health cadres
- Database predictions and analysis.
The partnership between the Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology at IIT Kanpur and the Uttar Pradesh Government will enhance healthcare delivery by integrating AI into telehealth and point-of-care diagnostics. We can bridge gaps and improve accessibility in healthcare by implementing AI-driven solutions. Using AI and machine learning to analyse data and predict population-based needs and outcomes will improve healthcare delivery efficiency and effectiveness. This partnership demonstrates our shared determination to drive positive change and propel Uttar Pradesh towards a healthier, more prosperous future.
The UP Digital Health Stack (UP-DHS) is in a significantly advanced stage of implementation, with the basic building blocks of the NHS already deployed at scale across all health administrative units in the State, and the rollout of vital healthcare and health administrative applications have also been initiated.
