The centre of excellence is developing economical, easy-to-use, point-of-care diagnosis devices (POCD2s) to diagnose diseases and abnormalities in the early stages, and during follow-ups of the diseases, to assist in better therapy for large patient populations in India and the world. This CoE encompasses the activities related to the identification of biomarkers, biorecognition elements, platform substrates, suitable transducing methods, and user-friendly detection.
