SPARC Project Symposium on "Point-of-Care Healthcare Devices" & Pant Workshop Series on Medical Technology & Future Medicine GSMST, IIT Kanpur | November 25–27, 2024

Hosted by the Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology (GSMST), IIT Kanpur, this three-day symposium brought together researchers from IIT Kanpur, the University of Melbourne, and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for interdisciplinary dialogue across biomedical sciences, engineering, and emerging health technologies. Sixteen scientific talks were delivered over two intensive lecture days, covering topics such as antimicrobial resistance, nanomaterial-based drug delivery, AI in biological sequence analysis, bone regeneration, mRNA Immunotherapeutics, structural biology, and collaborative robotics in dentistry. The event was co-organized by Prof. Sandeep Verma (IIT Kanpur), Prof. Debnath Ghosal, and Prof. Richard Strugnell (University of Melbourne).
