Machine Shop Facility

The machine shop in the Department of Chemical Engineering is a facility with equipment and supplies for machining, a process where parts are cut, fabricated and finished to prepare them for use. This workshop is mainly used in the creation of new parts as well as repairs of existing equipment and parts. Main purpose of the workshop in our department is to provide necessary support to the educational and research facilities. The machine shop provides design and equipment maintenance services to the Unit Operations Laboratory (UOP) which is an UG instructional laboratory in the Department of Chemical Engineering.
