Engineers India Limited (EIL) Team Visit !!
We were honored to host a distinguished team from Engineers India Limited (EIL), including Shri Rajiv Agarwal, Dr. R N Maiti, Mr. Vidya Bhusan, Mr. Amish Mandoware, and Mr. Debasish Maity during their visit, our faculty showcased cutting-edge research technologies and innovations, and provided an insightful tour of our laboratory and pilot plants, focusing on emerging green energy solutions.

07th February 2024 Meenakshi Sundaram (MT/CHE/1978) retired Group General Manager at ONGC, graced us with his presence at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Kanpur. 🤝 It was an inspiring session as he shared valuable insights and experiences.🌟
18th January 2024 We are thrilled to share exciting news about the recent visit of Professor Maria Natália Cordeiro (Head, Cheminformatics and Materials research group at LAQV) a distinguished expert in the field of theoretical and computational chemistry, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to our academic community.
17th October 2023 Visit by our esteemed alumni Mr. Muktesh Pant (BT/CHE/1976) and Mr. Sudhakar Kesavan (BT/CHE/1976) back to their alma mater, the Chemical Engg department at IIT Kanpur. Mr. Muktesh Pant currently serves as a Senior Advisor at Beyond Meat (former CEO of Yum! Restaurants China) whereas Mr. Sudhakar Kesavan currently serve as Chairman of the Board of ABM Industries.
02nd July 2023 During his visit to our department, Dr. Madhukar Garg, President of R&D Refining and Petrochemicals at Reliance Industries Limited and former director of the Indian Institute of Petroleum, provided valuable insights on topics such as solvent extraction, advanced control, process integration, process simulation, and technology commercialization.
28th January 2023 Mr. Prabhakar Sethi, IIT Kanpur alumnus of the 1971 batch and currently the executive director at Technip India Ltd. visited our UOP lab. Technip is a world leader in project management, engineering & construction for the energy industry.
17th January 2023 Prof. Alamgir Karim, is a distinguished researcher with a diverse range of interests and contributions to the field of polymer nanotechnology. His work spans multiple areas with a particular focus on thin films, surfaces, and interfaces, exploring their applications in energy, sustainability, and human health.
