Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Kanpur is dedicated to addressing global energy challenges and emphasizes the significance of collaborations between academia and industry to promote sustainable development.

Recently, a team from Engineers India Limited (EIL) comprising Shri Rajiv Agarwal, Technical Director; Dr. R N Maiti, Certified General Manager & Head of Department (Research & Development); Mr. Vidya Bhusan, Senior General Manager (Process); Mr. Amish Mandoware, Senior Manager (Research & Development); and Mr. Debasish Maity, Senior Manager (Research & Development), visited our department. During the visit, our faculty members provided a brief overview of cutting-edge research technologies and innovations and facilitated a tour of our laboratory and pilot plants focusing on emerging green energy technologies.
