
Dr. Dev Joneja (BT/ME/1984) serves as the Chairman of Risk at ExodusPoint Capital Management, a leading global multi-strategy investment firm. He joined the firm at its launch and previously served as its Chief Risk Officer, playing a key role in shaping and overseeing the firm's risk management strategy.
Previously, he was the Global Head of Risk and Analytics and Senior Managing Director at Millennium Management LLC. Prior to joining Millennium in 2009, Dr. Joneja spent 13 years at Lehman Brothers, where he served as Head of Fixed Income Research and Global Head of Lehman Indices and Point. He has also worked as a Research Analyst at Barclays Capital and served as a faculty member at the Graduate School of Business, Columbia University, New York.
Dr. Joneja instituted the Arjun Dev Joneja Faculty Chair for the Department of Civil Engineering.
Prof. Priyanka Ghosh, from the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Kanpur, conducts research in the areas of foundation bearing capacity, numerical analysis, retaining walls and earth pressure theory, pullout resistance of anchors, and slope stability. She completed her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, in 2005.
She is the recipient of the Outstanding Young Investigator Award from the International Association for Computer Methods and Advances in Geomechanics (IACMAG), USA, and the IEI Young Engineers Award from The Institution of Engineers (India).

Prof. Sachchida Nand Tripathi is the inaugural Dean of the Kotak School of Sustainability at IIT Kanpur and a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, with a joint appointment in the Department of Sustainable Energy Engineering. His research interests include aerosol science and technology, low-cost sensors for air quality monitoring, near-real-time identification of air pollution sources, aerosol-land use-rainfall-climate coupling, and large-scale chamber aerosol experiments for reactor safety. He has received several prestigious honours, including the J.C. Bose Fellowship, Infosys Prize, UP Ratna Award, and fellowships of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) and the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS), Potsdam. Prof. Tripathi earned his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from IIT (BHU) and his Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Reading, UK.
