Prof. Vishal Govind Rao from the Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur, earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from IIT Kharagpur and specializes in spectroscopy and materials chemistry. His research focuses on plasmonic photocatalysis, interfacial charge transfer dynamics, solar energy conversion, and carbon dioxide reduction for sustainable energy applications.

Prof. Nisheeth Srivastava

Prof. Nisheeth Srivastava is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at IIT Kanpur. His research focuses on solving local problems using AI and machine learning methods. He did his PhD from University of Minnesota. His PhD was advised by Paul Schrater and addressed fundamentally philosophical questions about the nature of value and desire from the prism of computation. He was a post doc fellow at the University of California, San Diego.
