Mr. Cherian Mathew (BT/CSE/2008) is the Founder and Partner of Firebolt Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm that has backed over 60 companies founded by IIT alumni in the United States. After completing his B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2008, Mr. Cherian Methew worked at Microsoft and subsequently earned an MS from Stanford University in 2012 before beginning his venture capital career.

Mr. Cherian Mathew instituted the Cherian and Vigny Mathew Faculty Fellowship for AI, which supports faculty members with research interests in artificial intelligence.

Prof Tushar Sandhan

Prof. Tushar Sandhan is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur. His research focuses on computer vision, machine learning, and AI applications in healthcare and robotics. Prof. Sandhan earned his B.Tech in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from IIT Guwahati, and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Seoul National University, South Korea. He has received the IEI Young Engineer Award and the Outstanding Young Researcher Award from the Venus International Foundation.
