Dr. Rajeeva Lahri (MSc2/PHY/1974, MT/MSE/1976) is a distinguished technology leader with over four decades of experience in the semiconductor industry. He currently serves as an Advisory Board Member at Mojo Vision, where he supports the development and scaling of MicroLED-based optical interconnects for AI data centres and next-generation AI/AR glasses. He is also a Strategic Advisor to NanoDx, providing guidance on rapid point-of-care and in-vitro diagnostic products based on nanowire biosensor technology. His extensive career includes leadership roles at GlobalFoundries, Freescale Semiconductor, Signet Solar, Intersil Corporation, VLSI Technology, National Semiconductor and Hewlett-Packard. He earned his doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Dr. Lahri and his wife, Mrs. Sangeeta Lahri, instituted the Excellence in Electrical Engineering Young Faculty Fellowship at IIT Kanpur, with a preferred focus on Semiconductor and Photonics research in the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Prof. Gururaj Mirle Vishwanath

Prof. Gururaj Mirle Vishwanath from the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur has research interests in renewable energy penetration challenges in power systems, machine learning applications, power converters for electric vehicles and their interfacing challenges, power electronics applications, microgrid control, energy management systems, and power system stability. He received his B.Tech. from Visveswariah Technological University, Belgaum, followed by an M.Tech. from NITK Surathkal and a Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee.
