Prof. Shoubhik Dutta Roy

Prof. Shoubhik Dutta Roy delivered a talk on "Emotive Design" in February 2025. An architect-turned product designer with over 14 years of industry experience, Prof. Shoubhik currently serves as a faculty member at the MIT Institute of Design, where he specializes in product aesthetics. He is a graduate of the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, and holds an M.Des. in Product Design from IIT Kanpur. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading design consultancies such as Incubis Consultants, Emantras, Studio ABD, and Future Factory, contributing to the design of products and packaging for prominent brands including Taj Ginger Hotels, Unilever Pureit, Vim, Domex, and Kissan.
