Prof. Vinod K. Singh is a renowned academician and leader in the field of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently, he is a Professor Emeritus at IITK, holding the Institute Chair position. He also holds the position of Director's Chair Professor at IISER Bhopal. Prof. Singh has made groundbreaking contributions to research and the management of higher educational institutions. His leadership extends beyond academia, with key roles in governing scientific research councils and national educational policies and mentoring future generations of scientists. Recognized globally for his expertise, Prof. Singh has been honored with prestigious awards like the Padma Shri (2014), Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize (2004), Vigyan Ratna Award of U.P. (2006), J.C.
