The Ramanujan Memorial Distinguished Lecture Series has been instituted with the support of the Secretary of the Systems Society of India. Established at the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur. The series aims to honor the legacy of Ramanujan by inviting distinguished scholars and experts to share insights on emerging developments and research in systems engineering and related fields.
Prof. Pramod Kumar Varshney is a Distinguished Professor at Syracuse University and a renowned expert in electrical engineering and signal processing. He earned his Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to research and education in areas such as signal detection, data fusion, and wireless communications, and is widely recognized for his impactful work in advancing modern communication and information systems.
