Muktesh Pant has served as CEO of food and consumer goods companies in China, the US and India. He was CEO for China’s largest restaurant company (Yum China with over 15,000 restaurants) and responsible for its successful public listing on the New York Stock Exchange in 2016. Prior to that he was Global CEO of KFC in the US. He has lived in India, the UK, US and China working with Unilever, PepsiCo and Reebok.
Micky has also served as Independent Director on several public company boards in the US and China including Beyond Meat, Pinnacle Foods and Primavera Capital Acquisition. Currently he is involved, through the Micky and Vinita Pant charitable trust, in the construction of hospitals in India and also in cancer research in the US. He lives in Washington DC. He is a Chemical Engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, and has been recognized with IIT’s Distinguished Alumnus Award and also appointed Institute Fellow.
