Mr. Rajinder Singh

Mr. Rajinder Raj Singh is a seasoned global financial services executive with over two decades of leadership experience in enterprise risk management, advanced analytics, and capital markets. He currently serves as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Pagaya Technologies Ltd, a global financial technology company delivering AI-driven solutions to the credit ecosystem. He also served as Chief Risk Officer at NewRez LLC in 2021, where he oversaw the development and implementation of scalable infrastructure, analytics, processes, and systems for enterprise-wide risk management.




Profile

Mr. Singh earned his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1983, followed by an M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University. He later completed his MBA in Finance from the Simon Business School, University of Rochester, and is a graduate of the Advanced Risk Management Program at The Wharton School.

Mr. Singh began his professional career at U.S. Bank in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area, where he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Risk/Reward Management from 1998 to 2003. He subsequently held the position of Chief Risk Officer at GE Capital (Consumer Finance) in Stamford, Connecticut, from 2003 to 2007. Between 2008 and 2021, he held senior risk leadership roles, including Chief Credit Risk Officer, at GMAC/Ally Financial Services, Citigroup, and Genworth Financial. His career spans leadership roles across global banking, mortgage finance, and fintech organizations, with deep expertise in risk governance, AI/ML applications, and regulatory capital frameworks.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, Mr. Singh has an extensive record of board service. He currently serves as a Director on the boards of Sagen Canada, India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation, Appalachian Trail Conservancy, and the North Carolina Supplemental Retirement Board of Trustees. He has previously served on the boards of Genworth Australia, Genworth Seguros de Credito a la Vivienda (Mexico), and Banco de America Central (BAC) International Bank, Costa Rica. Across these roles, he has chaired and served on several key board committees, including Risk, Audit, Investment, and Technology Committees.
