Mr. Rajinder (Raj) Singh was appointed as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at NewRez LLC in 2021. At NewRez LLC, he oversees all aspects of risk, including the development and implementation of scalable infrastructure, analytics, processes, and systems for enterprise-wide risk management.
Mr. Singh did his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1983. He went on to do his MBA from University of Rochester- Simon Business School in 1996. He later studied Advanced Risk
Management Program from The Wharton School in 2017.
Mr. Singh started his career as a SVP & Head of Risk/Reward Management in U.S. Bank at Greater Minneapolis, St. Paul Area from 1998 to 2003. From 2003 to 2007, he was a
Chief Risk Officer at GE Capital (Consumer Finance), Stamford, Connecticut. He served as a Chief Credit Risk Officer at GMAC/ Ally Financial Services, Citi,Genworth from 2008 to 2021.Mr. Singh also holds position as director on the boards of India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation and of Genworth Seguros de Credito a la Vivienda, Mexico.
