Mr. Gautam Khanna, known for his significant contributions to the Indian healthcare scenario, is the CEO of the PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre and Head of the Hinduja College of Nursing, Mumbai, India. He is responsible for leading the Hinduja Group to the top positions in the healthcare vertical in our country. On being appointed as the CEO, he expressed, "I am excited and honored to join the PD Hinduja National Hospital to embark on the journey of further growth and innovation in healthcare and contribute to the Hinduja vision of 'Quality Healthcare for All'." He is also serving as the Vice President for the Association of Hospitals (AOH), Maharashtra.

Mr. Gautam Khanna received his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1988 and further completed his master's in Business Administration from IIM Calcutta in 1990. He started off his career with RGP Enterprises, Mumbai in 1990 and continued to work till 1992. In the initial phase of his career, he also served at a large industrial business house and continues to be an active member of the industry associations.
Prior to assuming his role as the CEO, he relentlessly served 3M Health Care businesses nationally and internationally with utmost sincerity and dedication for over 22 years. He held multiple key positions of higher responsibilities including Executive Director and Country Business Leader in both Sri Lanka and India. He was also responsible for overseeing the corporate affairs for 3M India. Since October 2014, he has been serving as an independent director of a healthcare organization and is often invited as a governing council for a few other organizations. He also chaired the FICCI Medical Device Forum from January 2012 to December 2013 and AdvaMed, India Working Group from August 2013 to March 2014. From April 2013 to March 2014, Mr. Khanna served as a co-chairman of AMCHAM Medical Device Committee, New Delhi. He has also been a member of the CII National Committee on Healthcare. Being a founder member of NatHealth, he is credited with leading policy advocacy for the health industry in multiple manners.
In 2014, Mr. Gautam Khanna joined PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre as a CEO bringing over 26 years of extensive industry experience to the Hinduja Group. As the CEO, he endeavors to achieve Hinduja's dream of virtual healthcare by impactful innovation and creating synergies with leading international institutes. In addition, he ensures patient-centricity by effectively leading disease management programs along with hospitals' medical fraternity. Since his joining, he has worked in close association with Hinduja Hospital's knowledge partners successfully leading its three pillars of research, delivery, and academics into the larger vision of a 'Nurturing Innovation Park' - the dream project of SP Hinduja, Hinduja Group Chairman.
