Outreach Initiatives

The Medical School invites prominent scientists, intellectuals, and policymakers to participate in the Pant-Jalan Distinguished Lecture Series. The goal is to inspire new ideas in the healthcare field and explore how technology can revolutionize public health programs. In addition to delivering a lecture, the guest experts have the opportunity to engage with the faculty members, researchers, students, and clinicians affiliated with the School. These interactions highlight the School's strengths and distinctive qualities, while also helping to shape future plans. Two separate lecture series were established in honor of two of the Gangwal School's founders, recognizing their significant contributions.

The Medical School is interested in organizing regular workshops in specific thematic areas for scientific discussions and outreach activities in the healthcare sector. In addition to students and researchers from within the Institute, the workshops are open to a national audience for knowledge sharing and capacity building. Experts in the thematic domains are invited to serve as instructors for the workshops. These engagements are expected to greatly benefit the target audience, as the school aims to become a leading think tank in the country for the healthcare sector. Two workshop series are proposed, to be named after two of the founders of the Gangwal School in recognition of their contributions.
