Final year undergraduate students with CPI/CGPA > 7.5 are eligible. The admission will be based on on-campus/online interviews. A GATE score is required only post-offer and at the time of registration. PhD scholars at IIT Kanpur are eligible for an institute scholarship of up to INR 42,000 per month and will work on cutting-edge research on aerodynamics, propulsion, flight mechanics and control, structures and aeroelasticity, computational mechanics and aerothermodynamics and thermal sciences.
