Departmental Policy on Courses In the Summer Term for UG students
- As the department offers the IC courses MTH 111M-114M in both regular semesters, these courses will not be offered in the summer term.
- For all other courses (including MSO courses), the department shall continue the present policy on deciding which courses are to be offered in the summer term, subject to the availability of instructors. To undertake this, first feedback (tentatively in March) shall be sought among students of the department about their backlogs and genuine cases (such as backlogs generated from AP/WR status, semester leave or those from DD/DM program in their 8th/10th semester, etc.) shall be identified. The list of such course requests shall be communicated to colleagues, and their preferences would be sought for offering the courses in the summer term.
- Course requests from UG students in the graduating batch, fulfilling necessary prerequisites, shall be accepted. For example, for the upcoming summer term 2025, eligible students shall be from Y21 and earlier batches. This list includes students from our DD/DM program, having finished their 8th semester.
