The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Apollo Hospitals for research on the clinical applications of Artificial Intelligence, Telemedicine, Genomics, and other areas of mutual interest in healthcare technology.
Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the leading pharmaceutical company Laurus Labs for the development of novel drugs based on gene therapy assets, focusing on affordable treatment for disorders such as retinal degeneration, haemophilia, and muscular dystrophy in India and the emerging world. Laurus Labs will also establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for preclinical and clinical trials at IIT Kanpur’s Techno Park.
A tripartite Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute (KSSSCI), Karkinos Healthcare Private Limited, and Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. The aim of the Centre for Advanced Molecular Diagnostics and Research is to develop affordable cancer care solutions in the areas of genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, data science, and other interdisciplinary fields.
