
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Professor Sandeep Verma, Professor in Charge, GSMST, IIT Kanpur, and Ms Rachel Sandison, Deputy Vice Chancellor, External Engagement and Vice Principal, External Relations, Professor Moyra Boland, Dean Global Engagement (Central and South Asia), Professor Andrew Tobin, Director, Advanced Research Centre, and other dignitaries of the University of Glasgow. The collaboration will focus on staff and student mobility, research, and cooperation on large research projects like digital medicine, biomedical sciences, translational pharmacology, and sustainability.

The Officiating Director of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Professor S. Ganesh, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Professor Mike McGuckin, Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, and Professor Muthupandian Ashok Kumar, Assistant Deputy Vice-Chancellor International (India), of the University of Melbourne for joint research initiatives, faculty exchange, and transformative projects in the domain of global medical sciences and technology.

The Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to revolutionise healthcare delivery and advance telemedicine facilities in the state through the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The MoU outlines several key areas of collaboration, including anchoring telemedicine hubs and enhancing the quality of telemedicine services, implementing AI-based solutions to address population health impact, developing point-of-care diagnostics to drive program improvements, conducting competency-based capacity building for health cadres, and utilising database predictions and analysis for informed decision-making.

The Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Fondazione CNAO - Centro Nazionale di Adroterapia Oncologica in Pavia, Italy, to establish a joint research programme and collaborate with CNAO on a "Capacity Building Programme" for Hadron Therapy in India.
